Welcome

About Me

My primary agenda focuses on how local governments in low-income setting can successfully invest in their fiscal capacity and their ability to provide public services. Most of my current work in based in Sierra Leone, currently undergoing a country-wide property tax reform. I embed qualitative, survey, and experimental research to ongoing policy innovations within these reforms.

I also I care about how weak States in lower-income countries can successfully build their capacity to raise revenues and provide public services. My work is based in Sierra Leone, where a historically weak State is currently undergoing a country-wide property tax reform to increase its fiscal capacity.
